A major design and cost factor is that our boat consists of a 3 piece construction meaning hull, stringers and deck. Other hybrids use a four piece build, hull, stingers, deck, and ring deck. By building a 3 piece boat and maintaining wide gunnels and safe freeboard we are able to build a strong, quiet boat and build it more efficiently both in weight and time.
Last but most importantly Andros uses the absolute top of the line construction materials meaning gel coats, bi-axial glasses, vinylester resins and more. Rest assured that when you buy an Andros you are buying boat made from the finest materials and assembled by the best and most knowledgeable people in the industry today.
